About Meat

It is said that necessity is the mother of invention. This was certainly the case for us. A bunch of South African expats in the United Kingdom became increasingly dissatisfied with the quality of traditional meat products available from the majority of South African shops. So we started making our own. We went back to our roots, dug up old family recipes and procured premium primal cuts of meat to produce our products. Initially we only produced for our own consumption. But friends, family and colleagues who tasted our products were so impressed that they were prepared to buy our products. So we ended up providing premium quality meats to discerning customers – from renowned chefs to business people running their own food manufacturing companies.
